Gift Card Terms & Conditions

(a) Purchasing. U.S. LawShield® (“Company”) offers gift cards that may be purchased and redeemed for new memberships from Company. Gift cards cannot be applied to existing memberships. Purchasing or redeeming a gift card constitutes acceptance of the Company’s terms and conditions. The sale and or purchase of a gift card is in no way considered the sale or purchase of an insurance policy.

(b) Redemption. Gift cards may only be redeemed online or by calling and creating a new membership through Member Services at 877-448-6839. Gift cards are redeemable for one new adult annual U.S. LawShield membership. Gift card balances will be used against the total order placed online. If any purchase exceeds the gift card amount, the balance must be paid with a credit card or any other payment method accepted by the Company. Gift memberships are not redeemable in AK, CA, ME, MS, NY, PR, and RI.

(c) Restrictions. Except to the extent required by applicable law, gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash or checks, and gift card balances cannot be transferred to credit card accounts or any other means of payment. If applicable law requires the Company to redeem gift cards for cash, check, or other means of payment, the Company reserves the right to select any of the foregoing at its discretion and the value is not to exceed the original amount paid. The Company reserves the right to reject the redemption of gift cards and request alternative forms of payment, terminate the respective account, and take legal action, if the Company reasonably believes that gift cards are abused, used, or obtained fraudulently. GIFT CARDS MAY NOT BE REDEEMED FOR CURRENT MEMBERSHIPS. GIFT CARDS ARE REDEEMABLE BY NEW MEMBERS ONLY.

(d) Loss. The Company has no obligation to replace lost or stolen gift cards, but lost or stolen gift cards can be reported by calling the Company at 877-448-6839.

(e) Limitation of Liability. GIFT CARDS ARE PROVIDED BY U.S. LAWSHIELD FREE OF ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

(f) Governing Law. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in relation to gift cards shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Void where prohibited by law.

(g) Jurisdiction. You may have other or additional rights in connection with your purchase or redemption of gift cards under the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which you reside and nothing in this Section restricts such rights you may have.
